Caldwell Snyder Gallery is excited to present a solo exhibition featuring new works by Canadian artist, Bobbie Burgers.
For more than two decades, Bobbie Burgers has developed a distinctive contemporary painting practice defined by vibrant color, expressive gesture, and richly layered surfaces. Blurring the line between abstraction and representation, her paintings transform florals and organic forms into immersive compositions inspired by the rhythms of the natural world. Drawing from her passion for gardening, Burgers celebrates growth, transformation, and the fleeting beauty of nature through bold, energetic works that feel both spontaneous and deeply considered.
Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Burgers studied at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Victoria. She has exhibited extensively throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, and China,
