John Belingheri describes his work as evolving from process, sequence, and casual relationships. With an array of mediums, he creates layers of repetitive marks and patterns, building up the surface only to reduce the paint to reveal the final result. Colors and lines oscillate between tension and cohesion, and while minimal, each mark is full of expression. To Belingheri, each twist and turn represent the passing of time, where dreams lead way to consciousness.
