“Eleven Years” presents paintings by Jürgen Trautwein that first appeared in his eleven previous exhibitions at Gallery 60SIX from 2013 through 2025. Featured are twelve paintings drawn from the collection of William Goodman and Victoria Belco, whose taste, dedication, and focus have long supported artists, their galleries, and the art community at large. Additional works from the eleven shows are also included.
Born in Bruchsal, Germany, Jürgen Trautwein is an interdisciplinary artist who works in a variety of media, including installations, land-art, sound art, animation, new media, and hypertext web-works as well as classical forms such as painting, drawing, collage, and photography. Rooted stylistically in abstract expressionism, minimalism, and conceptualism, his works are manifestations of the immediate, the everyday, and present experience.
