Maybaum Gallery’s Satellite Gallery | 48 Stockton, San Francisco’s Union Square

Nov 25 — Mar 31, 2026

Ramping up towards SF Art Week, Maybaum Gallery has expanded its exhibition space in the former Barney’s Building at 48 Stockton Street in the heart of San Francisco’s Union Square. Part of a stimulus of the San Francisco Art Scene and the San Francisco downtown area, Maybaum’s additional 20,000 square feet is now open and marks a grand return for the building at the corner of Stockton and O’Farrell streets. Dating back to 1909, the corner building at 48 Stockton has remained empty since 2020. The Satellite Gallery is currently open by appointment.

Maybaum will continue to maintain her original 4th Floor gallery at 49 Geary Street as a platform for solo exhibitions while using the grand new space just one block away for rotating group exhibitions encompassing a diverse range of San Francisco based and international artists. While currently open to the public, Maybaum Gallery will host a by invitation grand opening for press and select guests during SF Art Week.

Maybaum’s 20 year gallery career has taught her how to diversify her business and pivot, even when it’s painful. She tries to appeal to both seasoned collectors and those who “are just starting to acquire art for the first time in their lives. I want to help revitalize Union Square, and help make it a destination for culture.”

Select Participating Artists include Melanie Daniel, Gregory Hayes, Ilhwa Kim, Karl Klingbiel, Dharma Strasser MacCall, Kirk Maxson, Ian Micheal, John Miranda, Eric Parra, Sophie Westerlind, Victoria Wagner, Nadia Yaron.
