Avenue 12 Gallery is delighted to present Michelle Inouchi: The Dynamic Landscape, a solo exhibition of paintings and watercolors. Featured is her most recent work, a large scale (7’x9’) ebullient mix of emotions evoking her devotion to the city of San Francisco. Inouchi’s paintings are vibrant and joyful, even effervescent, with wide sweeps of movement throughout work, reflecting the immediacy of the landscape. With acrylic paint on canvas or board, she attaches her brushes to bamboo several feet long. This allows her to translate her whole body movement onto the surface, creating immersive strokes of color. The necessity to paint is born of her spirit, channeled through her experience of nature. About the Artist: Michelle Inouchi is a graduate from the SFAI and is a committed artist that loves to paint and has been creating steadily; the last fourteen years in her studio in San Francisco
