Caldwell Snyder Gallery was founded in 1983 by Oliver Caldwell and Susan Snyder in San Francisco and has since grown to include three locations: San Francisco’s Union Square, downtown St. Helena in Napa Valley’s historic Star Building, and Montecito in the heart of Santa Barbara. The gallery represents over 50 contemporary artists from the U.S., Europe, and Latin America, with a strong emphasis on innovative painting and sculpture.

With 12,000 square feet of combined exhibition space, Caldwell Snyder presents monthly rotating exhibitions and participates regularly in international art fairs. The gallery has built long-term relationships with artists and collectors over its four decades, offering art advisory services, collection building, and curatorial support for private and corporate installations.

For over 40 years Caldwell Snyder has remained committed to fostering contemporary art and maintaining a strong visual identity. As an active member of the San Francisco Art Dealers Association, the gallery continues to evolve while staying rooted in the values that have defined its success for over 40 years.
